hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park
This is almost a distant memory now but I was recalling tonight how much fun we had hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park in August. We hiked a bit together, the four of us. Then the boys went on their more strenuous climb up Twin Sisters Trail while Kirsten and I kept to our speed up Lumpy Ridge Trail. Walking is the human therapy. Problems are solved, moods are changed in daily walks. Troubles disappear when walks turn to climbing. Kirsten points out that it’s hard to think about your problems when you have to worry even a little about where to place your foot as you move your body up the trail.
